Life brings joy as well as sorrow, frustration, and disappointments. By God’s grace, He does not leave us alone. He offers a peace that passes understanding and support through brothers and sisters in Christ. When times are difficult and your struggles seem unmanageable, I offer a safe place for you to go – a place for you to share your story and navigate what the next steps might look like. My passion is to provide effective tools for you to use throughout life so you can see clearly through the clouds of despair, allowing God’s peace to intercede and work in your life as your mind and heart are open to Him.

I have personally experienced the unconditional love and power of Jesus to save and heal. I have encountered Him as our Healer, our Counselor and Advocate, our Comforter, our wellspring of life, He is God with us, and “the Living One Who Sees Me” (Genesis 16:13 and John 4). I have a passion for working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families. I specialize in providing Child-Centered Play Therapy and Child-Parent Relationship Therapy to children and families. I would be honored to get the opportunity to hear your story, to come alongside you and your family on this journey, and add to the tools in your toolbelt for a thriving life and meaningful relationships. Clients will also benefit from my practice being under the supervision of Glenna Massey, MMFT, LPC-S, EMDR-certified.

Throughout our lives, challenges arise that may be beyond our ability to overcome. Everyone needs a safe space, support, and, at times, guidance to work through those challenges. My goal and purpose is to provide that space and support to help you navigate through life and find solutions that work for you. I offer effective tools to help you address anxiety, trauma, substance use, depressive disorders, and other concerns and challenges that life can throw into the mix. One day at a time, we will work through the emotional and mental battles that may be derailing you from living your best life, with God’s help.

Our God has tender-hearted compassion for those who are hurting, grieving, and afflicted (Isaiah 61:1-4). Do you find yourself in one of those places currently? No matter your circumstance, you can know with certainty that God wants you to be free from your pain and suffering. With empathy and a non-judgmental spirit, I will sit with you and listen to your story. Together we will determine the best path forward for your needs. In my practice, clients will also benefit from the influence of my supervisor, Glenna Massey, LPC-S, an EMDR-certified therapist with training in Gottman Couples Therapy and neurobiology.

As a Christian counselor, I see the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative process as I partner with my clients and rely on the Holy Spirit’s presence and participation as both comforter and revealer of truth and wisdom.

Life is not always easy, and we all struggle at times. The good news is that Jesus Christ can take our mess and turn it into something that is beautiful. He can take the hardest moments of our lives and turn them into growth opportunities to experience peace, joy, and a purpose. Even through pain, trails, and tribulations, we can find hope in the Lord. As your counselor, I will walk with you through the trials you are facing and help you find realistic solutions, relying on God for direction and guidance for your path.

As your counselor, I will meet you exactly where you are with unconditional compassion to help you navigate life’s trials and challenges. No matter where you are in your relationship with God, I offer a safe space to be heard in all situations. My ultimate goal is to display the love of Christ to each individual who enters the therapy room, no matter their past, their religion, or their trials. With kindness and a nonjudgmental presence, I will work with you to create a treatment plan to help you meet your goals and experience the growth God has planned for you.

Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

If you’re feeling stuck in a rut or unable to break free from your current symptoms or circumstances, I would be honored to work with you. With God’s help through Christian counseling, it’s possible to experience freedom, growth, and healing. I offer a variety of therapeutic approaches from a faith-based perspective and will customize your treatment plan based on your individual needs. I will listen attentively to your story and work with you to determine the best course of action moving forward so you can experience joy and peace again, with the help of the Holy Spirit.

As your therapist, I will be there for you and listen to you and your concerns. When we go through challenges in life, we can feel alone. Sometimes it helps just to have someone with whom you can talk things through. With kindness and empathy, I will listen to your perspective and help you understand what you are feeling, why you are feeling that way, and how you can overcome any unwanted or unhelpful emotions. As a follower of Jesus, I will seek to share with you the love of Christ and the enduring truths from His Word that offer us lasting hope.
