When you come into my counseling office, you enter a safe haven. You will enter a judgment-free zone where you are encouraged to be yourself, talk about whatever is on your mind, and most of all, heal. With understanding and care for your overall well-being, I will listen carefully to your story and walk with you through whatever challenges you are facing until you reach hope and healing on the other side.

My Goal as a Christian Counselor
One of my primary goals as a counselor is to provide internal and external healing for each client, with God’s help and direction. I want my clients to gain a healthy sense of self and others. I want them to feel accepted, to know that they are unique, and to become the best version of themselves.
What I Offer in Christian Counseling
I care about your well-being both inside and outside of the therapy room. When you leave therapy, I want you to feel empowered to take control of your own life. Therefore, I operate as a helper and a guide, believing that nobody knows you better than yourself and you are the expert of your own life. I offer a safe place for you to come and talk through all of your issues and to be yourself.
My Approach to Christian Counseling
God is a God of love, a God of unity, and a God of healing, and that is exactly what my practice is all about. I want everyone who walks into my practice to feel acceptance and love regardless of their issues, their age, or their religion or spiritual beliefs.
Qualifications & Experience
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Quincy University, a Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling with a specialization in Christian Ministries from Liberty University, and a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University. I am also a Certified Systemic Couples and Family Counselor.
My Call to Christian Counseling
Growing up, my parents always helped others and taught me to do the same. I obtained my first Master’s degree to learn more about counseling for leadership purposes. This degree opened doors for me to become a supervisor and eventually a parent coach. As I was doing parent coaching, my supervisor suggested that I try out therapy. I tried it and fell in love with it. I then learned that I had a heart for couples counseling and wanted to learn more about that, which led me to systemic couples and family therapy, then I decided I wanted to become licensed in it.
More About Me/On a Personal Note
I enjoy praise dancing with my husband (that’s how we met). I also like to work on art projects, draw, listen to music, spend time with family, learn, and help others.

Relationship Counseling
Relationships are beautiful until they are not. Society makes relationships seem so easy and fun. Everything is sunshine, blue skies, parties, and good times. However, anybody who has ever been in a true relationship knows that relationships are hard! Whether you are dating, engaged, married, or friends, it takes a lot of time and effort to invest in your chosen partner. If you are ready for a change in your relationship, together we will invest in your relationship and work on the best and healthiest outcome you see fit.
Family Counseling
Families are tough and can be very draining. Why can’t we all just get along? Well, I have good news for you. We can! How do you want your family to engage with one another? Let me help you navigate through the good and bad times and everything in between. Let’s normalize that it is okay to have conflict and work to get through that conflict rather than “getting over it.”
Premarital Counseling
First off, I want to commend you for making this extra investment into your marriage! I can tell you from personal experience that premarital counseling is an absolute necessity before entering a lifelong commitment with your partner. Let’s get deep into the areas that will shape the outcome of your marriage, such as attachment styles, sex, finances, friendships, children, intimacy, the family that you will create, and the family that you came from. Nothing is off-limits when entering a lifetime commitment.
Group Counseling
What is it that you are struggling with that feels so daunting that it makes you feel that you are going crazy? I guarantee that other people know exactly how you feel. While each person’s experience is different, being able to hear others speak on their experience can be a revelation for you, as they may be just the words you need to hear. Join us for group counseling sessions with topics that focus on marital issues, dealing with divorce or separation, learning how to repair relationships, and parenting groups.
Sexual Abuse
Your body is your body. Period. It is your right to be treated with dignity and respect. If you are ready, let’s talk about it. I am here to listen . . . when you are ready.
